How to Play SuperLotto Plus

Are you ready to start playing the Golden State favorite, SuperLotto Plus? Getting a ticket is easy and our How to Play guide takes you through it step by step. While you can’t currently play online, you can still get involved in the state lottery game by simply visiting your nearest authorized SuperLotto retailer. So let’s take a look at what you then have to do once you get there.

Select your numbers

Firstly, you need to choose the numbers you’d like to play with. Select five numbers between 1 and 47, as well as a Mega number from 1 to 27. If you can’t decide which numbers to use, you can generate a Quick Pick instead. If you opt for a Quick Pick, you’ll enter using a random set of numbers chosen by the lottery terminal. You can also try our online SuperLotto Plus number generator to see if it produces some new lucky numbers to play with instead!

How many draws?

If you like the numbers you’ve chosen and want to play them in more than one draw, mark the Advance Play box. By selecting the Advance Play option, you can choose to play between 2, 8, 16, or 20 consecutive draws.

Purchase your tickets

You’re nearly there! Once you’ve completed your playslip, it’s time to enter the draw(s). One SuperLotto Plus entry costs $1 per play. Remember that ticket sales close at 7:45 PM PT, before the drawing - tickets purchased after this cutoff are automatically entered into the next applicable draw. Good luck!

When to check the results?

You can check them any time - we publish the results here shortly after every draw. We have a numbers archive where you can find the latest results, updated after every draw on Wednesday and Saturday evenings at 7:57 PM PT. However, you should check all tickets within 180 days of the draw date, as that's when they expire. Expired tickets can never be redeemed, no matter how much they won.
