SuperLotto Plus Odds and Prizes

The SuperLotto game has nine different prize categories and you can win something just by matching the Mega number. The grand prize can be won if you match all five main numbers plus the Mega number, and it has a starting amount of $7 million. It will keep on rolling until it is won, as there is no jackpot cap or rollover limit.

In California, prizes are paid out on a pari-mutuel basis, meaning that the amounts for each category depend on the number of tickets sold and the number of winners. Each category is allocated a certain percentage of the overall prize pool. The final amount will be divided equally among the winners.

If you want to have a look at some of the latest draws, you can check out the Numbers page, where you will also be able to see the amounts won in each category once you select a particular draw.

Jackpot Payment Options

SuperLotto Plus is one of the games played in California which allows jackpot winners to claim their winnings as annuity or as a cash lump sum.

For those that choose the annuity option, their prize will be paid out over 29 years, in 30 installments.

When going for the cash option, winners receive the jackpot in a single payment. Once a payout option is selected, it cannot be amended. In case multiple participants win the jackpot, its amount will be divided equally among them.

The advertised SuperLotto Plus jackpot is never guaranteed, as it serves only as an estimate. The final amount will depend on ticket sales and on interest rates for long-term investments.
